I'm not affiliated with the seller, but hope that he finds a buyer for one of his cars.

Located in Columbus (Dublin) Ohio. I talked with the owner, sounds like a very nice guy, loves the cars and thinks they're worth a bit more than they really are but hey, how many '87s can you buy from the original owners?

His wife can no longer drive, so he feels like he should sell one of them.

The SDL has 120,000 miles, he's asking $10,500. It is blue and I know nothing more.

The 300D has 110,000 miles, asking $5,500. It is light ivory over palomino 'tex. Looks good in the photos. He told me that he waxes it regularly, it is his wife's car.

The cars are sitting on a nice brick driveway in a courtyard-looking setting, so not a trailer-park where he can't afford to maintain his cars.

Someone buy one of these cars from the guy and make them happy. His craigslist ad (now expired) lists his name as Gerry, at 614 dash 889 dash 8292

It's my old home-town and I stll have relatives there, so I feel some ownership in finding this guy's cars a new home.

I would be ALL over that 300D if it wasn't white (ivory), in the same way I'd be snatching up Winmutt's 300D if it weren't white over blue. Plus, having something so nice so close to me is very, very tempting.

The SDL? Well, that number is pretty high...too bad. It might be worth it, but it's still expensive.

I've seen these listed on CL. You're from Dublin, Jeff? I'm from Arlington. living in Victorian Village right now.

My understanding is these are both pretty immaculate examples, I haven't seen them but I heard about them from someone else.

That said, if someone out of state gets serious about one of these cars I'd be happy to go take a look for you. Emphasis on the serious, I'd be happy to do a buyer a favor, but I'm not about to waste his time, or mine.
