Hello Everyone
I've read this forum for a while but I finally got around to registering. I really appreciate all of the good advice that I have gotten here.

I have a 1983 300TD, she has about 250K miles on her. Lived most of her life in California until about 5 years ago I brought her to the great white north. Not a big fan of the super cold weeks but other than that we are rolling pretty good.

According to my current Mechanic I'm going to need a new tranny soon and I think it would be good to get a second opinion and hopefully find someone with a little more experience working on the old diesels. I'm not much of a mechanic myself, I can do the basic things with a bit of instruction but for anything major I need someone with more experience to sort me out.

So does anybody know of a good mechanic in the Twin Cities?
