on my 79sd the bolt to stabilizing arm is a 24 mm and very difficult to budge as a-ny torque on it makes stabilizing arm flex ,any tips maybe impact gun?

Great... I'm going to be rebuilding the control arms in my SD as soon as the spring compressor makes it back to me...
impact is usually a good thing for stuck bolts. I don't know how you could use heat without burning the rubber bushings.
be sure to use 6 point sockets...

got both uc arms in as well as new brake hoses.first one took me 2 hours ,other side 30 minutes.on my 79sd the sway bar is connected with a 24 mm bolt,on the sway bar end where bolt threads in is a allen bolt that adjusts tension around thread as bolt goes in,i didnt realize this at first.lining everything up took some time .eventually i connected uca to body first, then inserted bolt to sawy bar,on sway bar the whole threaded female portion that recieves the bolt is attached with 2 10 mm bolts as well as allen bolt,by loosening all this i could wiggle things and get it bolted. together.car rides great now..still have to change trans fluid and filter, neutral safety switch, shifter bushing and check trans modulator pressure and vcv to get shifts right.i also have a leak turbo and might try to rebuild .after that im good for a while.

I said the arm SHOULD be the same... the bushings may not be, due to differences in the mounts...
