Five boys and a woman, who were also in the vehicle with 15 sheep allegedly stolen from nearby farms, were also arrested.

They arrested the sheep too?

... lets go with warmth... we all know how difficult it is getting heat with a bad monovalve or evil servo...
I've worked with sheep before. they put out a lot of heat, and I'm sure they kept the cabin toasty warm for the drive...

Never heard of it

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Mercedes-Benz Vito is a light van produced by Mercedes-Benz in Vitoria, Spain. From the name of the city Vitoria came the name Vito.

BTW, the level in that man's blood is amazing, "an alcohol content of 1.6g/100ml. . . This is 32 times over the limit of 0.05g/100ml" or 0.05%. [This is even stricter than the California limit of 0.08%.]

Wikipedia reports a few cases of BAC in excess of 1% with the patient surviving. Anything near 1% is generally considered potentially fatal. I'm amazed that he survived.

I wonder if the driver was alert enough to tell the police not to believe a word the sheep say. That they all are just compulsive liers..

How would you live down being stopped with 15 sheep in the car with you anyways? That is really pretty baaaaad in itself.

I personally would not want to be this guy when he sobers up. He will be razzed for years.

Two of my favorites:

I had to drive your Honor. I was too drunk to walk.

No Your Honor, I wasn't trying to show my contempt for the court. I was trying to hide it.

Dont ever say that in New Zealand or or in the presence of a Kiwi (New Zealander), you could get arrested.

The standard joke about New Zealanders goes 'why do New Zealanders ware gum boots? ~ To stop the sheep getting away !! I have an email here some place, If I copied & pasted it, you would get to issue your first infraction!!
