Open to suggestions, my '85s problems.
Months ago I started getting hesitation when driving on the interstate. Filters of course, I replaced those no fix. I did find alot of bubbles coming in, tightened the lines at the back and the went away. Then a month or so later I started getting a death rattle when applying lots of torque at low rpm and only under boost. Never at idle or reving in neutral. A year or so ago when I did the valve stems I found that one of the valve was sticking. Of course I assume that this is my death rattle. However after listening to a video the other day with similar symptoms I am leaning towards the pump causing my problems. Pump has been heavily modified but is also probably running a bit advanced. I have a replacement pump that looks recently rebuilt which I am going to put on first before I get involved in anything to expensive (head). I will probably do a compression test at the same time since all that stuff is in the same area.
Suggestions?

If it's only under boost, I'd probably check the turbo for play first. It's easier than the compression check and swapping in an IP.
