What diesel muffler to install?
I'm moving up to a 3 inch stainless steel from the turbo flange back, I'm going to have a resonator and then finishing it up with a muffler if it's to load. But the last system I purchased was Greddy for a gasser, so that's not to much info.
I'm looking to keep the car as quite as I can with still keeping high flow. But my understanding is to stay away from many of the gas mufflers that will create to much back pressure. I'm fully aware that the muffler want increase HP / Torque, I'm hoping to find something like a Magna Flow 13259. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-13259 I love it when the name a muffler a turbo muffler ![]() I really don't want that drown in the cabin that I'm getting now because I removed my resonator and muffler. Sad to say that it rusted out in only 20+ years. ![]()

Go on Ebay
I'm also doing a 3" stainless system on my 96 E300 TURBO. I installed a 99 manifold and turbo on it, now running 3" mandrel 304 stainless elbows with straight pipe. I bought a 13239 Magnaflow from "Performancepeddler" on Ebay $53.99 with free shipping. It was about the fourth time buying from him. He might also have the number your looking at with the c/o design. If that is too loud I have a Vortex cone insert to put at the tip. I have two Vortex tips used, If your interested in one send me a message. I was origionally planning on no muffler, only the insert. Check the insert out online.
