E300 Code P-0243 troubleshooting.....

Hey all, I know it's been discussed before...

Cleaned the MAF
Replaced the transducer (on the MAF side)

The car seems to be running normal w/normal power. The CHECK engine light was not coming on after I floored it....and the car did not go into 'limp mode.'

Finally the CHECK engine came back on...it's on now. Car seems to be running like her normal self but I still have this check engine light on.

SO would you replace the MAF at this point? wondering what to do, thanks.

Had the same thing, cleaned, light continued to stay on, performance fine.
Came up on NJ inspection, I picked up a replacement @ Dealer installed, everything is fine.

There are some threads out there to install a circuit to "replace" the MAF, but I opted for the replacement. Have not seen any diff in performance.

Good Luck
