E300 Code P-0243 troubleshooting.....
Hey all, I know it's been discussed before...
Cleaned the MAF Replaced the transducer (on the MAF side) The car seems to be running normal w/normal power. The CHECK engine light was not coming on after I floored it....and the car did not go into 'limp mode.' Finally the CHECK engine came back on...it's on now. Car seems to be running like her normal self but I still have this check engine light on. SO would you replace the MAF at this point? wondering what to do, thanks. |

Had the same thing, cleaned, light continued to stay on, performance fine.
Came up on NJ inspection, I picked up a replacement @ Dealer installed, everything is fine. There are some threads out there to install a circuit to "replace" the MAF, but I opted for the replacement. Have not seen any diff in performance. Good Luck
