Blower motor female plug 1980 300TD

Hello, I was wondering if anyone can tell me the orientation of the female blower motor plug ( the plug from the wire harness of the car)?
One wire is brown and the other wire is green with a red stripe.

The plug itself is the style that comes apart in half and is brown. I broke it in half and the wires came out with the pins soldered on the wire and I did not see the orientation in relation to the indent of the plastic part. If I have that indent facing the top which wire goes to which side of the indent? Thanks.

It won't hurt if you get it wrong. If the blower motor runs backwards, reverse the positions.

O.k I hooked it up and it ran fine, I now have heat in the cabin. If i hooked it up backward i imagine i would not have heat blowing out the defrost...is that right? It sure is a loud fan compared to what was in there before, I guess because this one actually works.
