My 300D is smoking when cold and misses when stopped. Seems to run fine at highway speeds. I've changed all filters, had a local machanic look at it and he replaced the injectors. Still the same and I am 900 dollars poorer. Any help would be good. I live near Gainesville Florida. Thanks Gary

When was the last time it had a valve adjustment? How stretched is the timing chain? These things can cause a miss. If those things are good, then it might be a good idea to do a compression test and make sure all of the cylinders are capable of firing properly.
