Can someone educate me on what the L.E.D. readout on a 1985 300 sd. The readout is at the bottom middle of the dash above steering column. Sometimes will flash then go blank. Don't have a manual. Thanks for any info.

Would it be an LCD ? If so, then it is the outside temperature display\gauge.
