Open the computer box under the hood and check if the 15amp fuse on the K40 relay is popped. Its the front most relay in that box.

Once in a Lifetime....Good Move!
'Battery is TOTALLY STONE COLD DEAD. 'Any charge y'all put "To It" is only
going towards "Trying" to recharge the dead cells (Think of it as an electrical "Black Hole",it just suck up everything near it!) Whatever "Jump Box" y'all be using at the "Jump points" just ain't gots enough Electrons to attempt "ReCharging" the SCD Battery AND START THE ENGINE AT THE SAME TIME! All the advice everyone has proffered will assist you in your New Ride! If However, you tire of fooling with it,I'm in Savannah and I'll be on the next Delta flying North with your Money! [an we ain't talking no lame $500.00] (UNLESS, You've already committed Heresy and WVO'd It.)

I'd guess your battery is bad, just like C-I said, above. Have it tested and when that is confirmed buy a new one. Believe it or not, buying a genuine M-B battery from the dealer is usually not a bad deal. They are a few dollars more than one from the parts store but usually give good life, have a good warranty and, if you really want to have fun just call roadside assistance and tell them your car won't start. They will send a truck which will try to jump your car and can install a battery for you on the spot. Normally they don't charge for labor either but either way the visit to try and start the car is free.
Do you know how full the fuel tank is yet?
