There is a recirc flap on the 123's with the ACC III system. It's located just about above the blower motor

I did mine last weekend. I got some pics to post once I download them off the camera. It was dirty looking like a light grey felt. I purchased cleaner from Home Depot installed a spray tube on the can and went to town. then rinsed with the water hose watching all drain out the drain tubes under the car. It sure made it look better now clearly visable silver cooling fins. My results although looking alot better it was not a big if any difference in flow or temp.
