By the way, those plastic parts are just sliding door parts you can buy at the hardware store. Here is proof:
MB Mileage Badges Are Made From Spare Sliding Door Parts!

Don't mean to high jack thread but wanted to add something.
I went to MB of Alexandria today to get them to sign off for the 250,000kil badge. 2 people(one sales manager in suit) did not know what it was and the second flat out refused to sign. Finally someone in service signed it and stamped it with the dealer logo. No one came out to the car to check the mileage or anything. But at least I got the signature and the form is in the mail now.

Just call 1 (800) FOR-MERC and they will direct you to the right place. Or call 1 (866) MB-CLASSIC. I can't remember which I called but they told me everything including expected date of arrival (and were right on).

I have seen the Canadian version of the 1,000,000 km badge and it's a cast work of art...

It's amazing to me how short-sighted and penny-pinching MBUSA can be when it comes to spectacular achievement.
man that goes to show those who pay the least b!tch the most

i mean, its free right? Try getting GM to send 1 out (if you can even make it run that long).

im about to apply for my 312k mile badge, the last 1 they sent (250 k i believe) was sweet. came with a black book, signed by someone and all.

i think its pretty damn cool they do this, but i never installed it (looks kinda cheesy on the grill, and god forbid i loose some airflow into the rad !!)

Alright I just got off the phone with Mercedes and they said due to a back ordered part it could take up to 48 weeks to deliver!!!!!! I asked him if it was possible to ship it without this "piece" and he said no it has to be complete!

Internet download wrong

The dealers high mileage papers say 312,500 miles. Not 312,000 like the internets from mbusa.
