Exclamation Random wires???

So I am finally getting a radio put into my 126. When searching out what wires go where today i found a home for every wire except there are two randome wires that appear to have no home. One wire is blue and has just been cut off of something. It is in a protective black tube by itself. The other wire is Brown with a blue tracer and has a female blade terminal connector. This wire is also in a black protective tube by itself and says kontaktfeder on it which i translated and doesn't make much sense.

A little back ground on the car.... I purchased the car with no radio installed and I had the dash out of this thing a month ago and these two wires were bundled with the radio wires so i figured they must go with the radio in some way. I do not have the stock radio to see if they connect to the radio or not. PLEASE HELP!!

Im not sure without pulling my stereo in my 300d but im pretty sure the blue in the protective sheath is for signal to the power antenna and am unsure of the other with the blue tracer...posssibly illumination?? hope this helps some..

This makes sense .... I already found the illumination wire though so i don't think it is that.

This info is from someone else, so take it FWIW.
Brown is ground, don't know about any stripe.
Blue is the power antenna.

I believe the blue is to signal the power antenna. Do you have the ashtray and cigarette lighter out? Any chance the brown could be part of the light socket there? I just wired up my head unit, but I don't remember brown with blue stripe.

you do say???

Did you say?
The other wire is Brown with a blue tracer and has a female blade terminal connector.

Is this the "alarm\secure" signal associated with the original Becker radio? What radio are you installing? If you are installing a Becker radio and want the anti-theft (code locking) feature enabled, then you have to hook up the wire. I'm going from MEMORY on all of this.....so, please don't hold me to it. Someone will come along and either confirm what I've written or correct it.

See if this helps, it's hard to read but maybe you can see what you need.
On the original I can see a blue wire from the radio to the antenna and a gray with violet stripe going into the illumination on the radio. Thats the only gray that I can see.

I beleive you are correct based on other research i have done.... and if you translate the german on the wire tube it can loosely have something to do with that i guess.....so blue wire is definitely power antenna and pretty sure brown/blue is the anti-theft wire. if this is wrong someone let me know

Sorry I got mixed up, you were talking about a brown with a blue tracer on it and I was looking for gray. I assume you are talking about an 85SD and looking at the diagram there is no brown with blue that I can find, I wonder if it could have been for one of the old factory installed cell phones.
