Don just send proof of ownership to the classic center at MBUSA and they will send you a copy of the original window sticker. It's been a while since I looked at mine for the 86 but think the base was $53K. It's free and they even FedEx'd it to me

53K is about right. We used to have a window sticker for our 87 300SDL before we gave it to the current owner with the sale of it.

I have an '87 300D
if it's any perspective...The bottom line, all taxes, etc. included was $42K.

From the '70s older goes on weight.
An antique or classic here is 25years old, so an '84 would go on collector plates anyway (great deal in comparison). No surprise this state is losing people and businesses fast.
