Pixel error on on the instrument cluster of a 99 E300 TD - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Hello, the pixels on the instrument cluster started going crazy, the numbers began to turn into lines and a can not see anything clear anymore, everything is in lines instead of letter and numbers. has anyone experience this before? any suggestions? thanks.

this is a DIY piece regarding a "missing pixels repair". I have not tried it, so I can't personally vouch for its effectiveness. Apparently if this "fix" doesn't work, the cluster may have to be sent out for repairs. Good luck!!

I recently bought one and the car had to be sold as True millage unknown because it had a segment of lines missing on the odometer. The state of NH issued a TMU tittle when it entered the state. Just be careful with it and get it fixed, so you do not run into that problem.
