Its Hereeeeee!

Thats right The SDL is home in FL now. The truck showed up at 11 am. It was dirty but no damage to it.

The drive is awesome. Its got a lot more pull than the 617, its so quiet, the seats are comfortable. The seat memory thing is awesome. It handles like a dream. Did I mention its very quiet inside. My god...

We had it unloaded at the grocery store that I am working at and its funny. The district manager and his boss show up to walk the store and Here I am unloading my new benz. They stop and ask whats up and I said/ " I sold both my irish sports cars and will be adding yet another Mercedes to my stable." Needles to say they were amazed lol. Everyone in the building(I know everyone) complimented me on it and think its pretty nice. Thanks Hatty!

nope. Hatt pulled the fuse to #6 so he didnt have to drain the tank and I was trying to figure out why the cluster was dead when I was driving it home.

What is the reason for pulling the #6 fuse?

Personally, I like the orange corners. Great contrast with the dark paint.

so the fuel tank would read empty or close to it since it was supposed to be shipped with less than 1/4 of fuel

Its about f****** time!

Yeah i'm not a fan of the clears either. I'd go with the orange corners. (Do you have US or Euro corners?)

Very nice! The 603 is a lot different then the OM 617

The SDL is to me hte best blend of traditional MB simplicity and toughness and nice luxury gadgets. Having ABS, air bags, and memory seats is nice.

It says SRS on the cluster... whats that.

I think the corners in the trunk are the us spec orange. I need me some ambers. Working on getting some euro lights and wipers right now. Lots of stuff I need to do this weekend.

SRS is the restraint system. Airbags, seat tensioners, etc.
