Thinking of trading CD4SD

I have been toying with the idea of letting the coupe
go in favor of an SD...........Am I nutz?

Maybe just getting old, I really don't like
the 2 doors anymore, but the car does clip along nicely on the hwy.

thoughts?

I would keep the CD then until a time in which you don't need to be in a one car situation.
Just look at the "sniff" in your signature. This likely would be another one....

Also, it is very dicey to have these kinds of cars and get by being in a one car situation. You must currently have a car you can trust, and that might be worth more than two rear doors.

hmmmmm.....where could I store a 300CD?

Hey Jimmy --- Can I store a 300CD on your "farm"?

Jack --- I understand your need for ONE car; if you haven't seen the difference between a w126 and a LONG Bodied w126, I'll ask you to at least take a look before you purchase a 300SD; you might want a 300SDL instead.

A 300SDL would give you a place to sleep (backseat) if the wife ever kicked you out of the motorhome.

I like the W126 more than the W123, so I'm biased.

All I can say is go find a really cherry 300 or 350SDL and test drive it. Now that is proper diesel Mercedes!

I've read too many stories about the "issues" with the 350. I would stick with a 300.

Being an 82, I'm betting on it being an NA...

If you were closer and I had an SD, I'd be all over trading with you. I love my CD....
