Yup, and the tires are 205/55/16 just like I have on my "old" reproduction AMG CLK/SLK wheels. I think the handling is great with that combination.

EDIT: And the circumference is about the same as the stock 14" wheels and tires so the speedometer/odometer is still fine.

Yeah, Jimmy. So he would give you hubbies for Penta's huh? This I have to see. What say ye Jimmy?

Chad, do you need spacers on those? They look good on the wagon, I wonder how they look on a sedan...

Without spacers they rub when turning hard or going over a big bump. Plus the dust caps need to be tapped down so the center caps fit. I got 5mm spacers with the wheels so they will fit without a problem under any condition (dust caps will still need to be tapped down). I need to use standard lug bolts that go with the bundts on the front with the spacers and shorty (20mm) lug bolts for the rears with no spacers.

Here's how they look on a sedan:

Did you remove the upholstery and add the mounting brackets? The woman that sold me my headrests assured me that the brackets were already in the seat. I didn't discover they were not until after I had poked holes in the top of the seat.
They look good. Do you have the third seat in yet?
I ended up buying a 2nd row seat from a junkyard that had come oem with headrests.

I ended up buying a 2nd row seat from a junkyard that had come oem with headrests.
I bought the seat backs from Dave and used the covers from my original seat backs to recover them. I had to cut the holes and put the plastic rings on the cover. I also had to color the seat backs with SEM Color Coat. I was going to swap the brackets, but they're pop riveted in and I didn't feel like drilling them out and re-riveting them into my seats (which have the holes for the brackets). Plus the foam is different. The foam for the headrest seat has channels cut into it.

I also discovered that the seat brackets that hold the seats at the middle are held in with HUGE phillips head screws that have blue thread lock on them. Luckily I have a mini torch and it made short work of removing those screws.

I don't have the rest of the third row seat in, I'm still cleaning it up and coloring everything.

I took my time so I wouldn't damage the seat covers and I spent time coloring the carpet backer to the seats. I spent about 6 hours total. I probably could have done it in 4 hours, but I wasn't in a hurry.

Putting the seats back in the car was a bit of a pain as was stretching the seat covers back on the frames. It would have been easier with someone holding things while I put the bolts in.

Another banner day for Dragon!!!

I took him to Zygmunt Motors in Doylestown, PA to have the front end fixed and aligned. They replaced the driver side tie rod, mounted and balanced 4 new tires on the lightweight CLK wheels and did a perfect front end alignment.

He feels like a new 123. Once his AC is fixed I may like him more than Gladys again.

I highly recommend Zygmunt. I'm going to post them in the "Good MB Shops" forum.
