Oil Cooler Repaired
I thought photo's would help anyone else doing this repair. The non broken nipple was easy. Cut the old threads off, drill a 21/32 pilot hole, tap with a 18 x 1.50 tap, screw in the new steel nipple. The material at the broken location was thick enough to get about two threads tapped in. It did tighten down pretty good. The area around was reinforced with JB Weld. Thanks to all that replied to my post with great info. Hope this link works. http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/album.php?albumid=76
