Newbie with a oil cooler MOD question
Hey guys I am looking at one of these coolers to run on my early porsche 911 in the FT air dam. I am not sure I want to go with the stock MB fittings to adapt to new lines. I was looking at doing the MOD described in this thread but just installing NPT threads and running a NPT x barb fitting 90 on each so I can keep the profile down. looking at using 1/2 NPT = .703 tap drill I don't have the cooler in hand yet. The m18 tap drill was .656 so taking out a little more material any comments ? If i get it and its to big to fit in my air dam I'll offer it up before I mod it. Ken
