Sorry, but another GP question.

So today I tried to start my car on a (cold) engine that sat for 24hrs without glowing first. Needless to say I gave up after 3-5 seconds of cranking. I glowed after that and started fine. So my question is, even in summer, can this situation be expected?

Thanks to all !

Yes. Absolutely normal. I think you could drop mine in the middle of a house fire and still have prolonged crank times without preheating it.
