The 91 300D I bought 2 years ago has a 200,000 km badge on the grill. It never dawned on me that other badges I have seen are 250,000 km and 500,000 km badges. Does anyone know anything about this? I can't believe it took my 2 years to notice this.

The is no 200k badge from MB, just the 250k, 500k, 1mk and 1m badges.

I just realized that my SDL is qualified for the 250K(km) badge and is almost at the 500000km badge with 466000 some odd klicks passing under his wheels!

Yeah, I've never heard of a 200KM badge either. I've got to send in my application for Max's 250KM badge, before he gets to 500KM.

I have my 250,000 and 500,00KM badges from MB. but 2 wks ago at PNP there was a new 300SD that was unmolested till I got there. I had never seen a 200000KM badge either, but right there on the grill was one.

SO, now I have it on my grill. It is made with better quality than the new ones, but has 2 screws that come in from the front.
the new ones look like they are just painted, but the old one looks like the blue is ceramic.
