D**ned ants got to my car!!!

1982 280E 248k km - workhorse... 1977 300D 268k km - just completed engine swap 1974 280SE 164k km - side-swiped by a bus... 1977 300D 198k km - manual trans, built in South Africa - written-off by a Landcruiser.. 1977 300D 489k km - written-off by my 82 yo mother!

Amdro ....a super ant killer. Ants take it back to the hive as food. Kills the queen and prevents reformation of a new queen.

The ant-beridden W123 was part of the 'Sculpture By the Sea' last year - a yearly array of modern works arranged on the coastline south from Bondi beach in Sydney.
http://www.sculpturebythesea.com/ Have a look in Gallery > 2007. It's a great event in a spectacular setting - attracts thousands of people - so at least the car went out in style...
