I fueled up a couple days ago and it was about 3.29. You can also go on www.gasbuddy.com and plug in any part of the country to compare to your area.

Between 3.54 and 3.69 for diesel around here. Been steady at those prices for nearly a week now.

Last time I bought fuel (over 2 weeks ago) it was $3.24...shows how much it went up.

I won't need fuel for at least another week or two....wonder what it will be by then.

$3.39 this afternoon in SE Massachusetts.
Interesting article in US Today......"US supplies of distillate fuel, which includes diesel and heating oil, are down more than 5% from this time a year ago, the Energy Department said Wednesday".

Someone is screwing with the supply side!!!!

Its simple, the less supply they make available, the more they can charge for it, and its all profit. Plus, its endorsed by our leader, so of course they do it.

Don't we already have enough fuel price threads?

This is getting as bad as oil threads!

I paid $3.27 last week.

Price does not bother me one bit. There is nothing anybody can do about it so all you can do is pay the price, get over it and move on with life.

Same here. I only fill 1.2 times a month, so I use maybe 20-22 gallons a month right now....so my cost is negligable. It'd have to be $8 a gallon before it'd really kill me....and even so, I could further reduce my costs by driving even less, I only live 4.8 miles from school/work (same place). I'd walk it if I had to.

Also, I have been doing pretty good by using my speedway credit card's freebies. Whenever someone in my family needs to buy something expensive, I buy it for them on my card, get thousands of "speedy points" and they just give me the $$ for the item. So in the end I get thousands upon thousands of points per month in free gas. It results in a $50 gift card every couple months, at no cost to me! Now that, is using the credit card companies. I also do a lot of car work for people, and buy all their parts/oil...etc with that card, and they pay for the stuff, so more points. Works out real well.

It doesn't much matter if you care about the price of fuel or not, crude oil is almost $100 and the dollar is very weak. The cost at the pump will go up significantly.
