What about your parents? Can they give you a loan?
You should get a credit card and start building credit.

In 1987 we bought a new 190D 2.5 (my wife was driving a 300SD that we had bought new also), she thought the car was cute - until we owned it, it was a major disappointment - all kinds of problems from mechanical to interior fit and finish - it was a car MB should never have built. We sold it while it was still in warranty, so we didn't take a huge beating on it - fortunately we had not sold the 300SD, so she went back to driving it and we have never considered a newer MB diesel since.

these cars seem to be like 50/50 with people that have delt with them... either they love them or they hate them...
Hat... I have one.. just waiting for it to show up in the mail(general visa card with 200$ line of credit...lunch?) worse comes to worse I pass on the 2.5T and go for the lesser '85 2.2 N/A...I am striving for fuel economy and if the 2.2 checks out via carfax and my nit picking I might just buy that one with cash on hand since AMGEN sucks. all the 2.2 needs is a set of euro headlights and a blacked out grill and its good to go I can always get a manual transmission for the 2.2 and eat hondas at the pump... maybe an EVO II body kit for it as well. hmmm Last edited by TheDon; 11-06-2007 at 02:20 PM. |
