On/Off AC Switch Kaput (W123)

My HVAC system was working flawlessly until today, as the on/off switch for the AC just flops around. No clicking into position.

Is it a matter of pulling out the wood fascia and replacing the switch? Or?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I think it's more a matter of pulling the switch out. No need to pull the wood unless you lose the wiring behind the dash while pulling the switch. If you're like me, that's what will happen.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping. Haven't had a chance to look it over, but will pop out the switch after work.
