I broke my hood release strap (the plastic thingy).
I replaced it to find the replacement is so short it dosent even make it
to the grill. I've attached a nice ugly black ducttape flap to it
so as it will function.

Used part # O2032-16315 from fastlane. Website said it was for my make and model.

Is there a strap out there that is longer??

Anyone have this problem and find a solution?
