High Mileage Award mounting location
I just received my 250k award. Is there some sort of etiquette that applies to where it is mounted? I assume the driver's side of the grill, since the latch is in the passenger side.

When I saw a Performance Products catalogue (an old one, from IMPCO) there was a w123 in the same color as mine with a badge on the passenger side of the grille. It stuck with me, hence my placing the badges there.

Oh God, my E300 has been eligible for the 155,000 mile award for awhile....this is happening too quickly!
Mine will be going on the passenger side, just seems to balance out the look of the car with the driver.

Silly thought
Ever wonder that these mileage awards are just a way to slowly kill the car? Not really, but eventually just keep blocking the radiator.
Can't wait to get one, but at the rate I am going it will be 2014 before I hit 155,000.

I've got two, the 250,000km and the 500,000 km, so I just put one on each side. What's the etiquette for having two at the same time? I sort of tried to center them, so what do I do if I make it to the next two?
(that seems improbable at this point, read my "master list of problems" thread to see what all I'm already putting up with at the 317,000-ish mark.) Master List: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/diesel-discussion/190637-master-list-my-sdls-problems.html#post1546564post1546564 |

I actually was thinking about that. A lot of these cars are running a little hot already, then you block a little more air flow...hmmm. Maybe they should just be winter badges
