Cool looking at a 300 CDT

Hey all, i'm currently the owner of an '83 240D and really like. I was interested in something with a little more pep. I am looking at an '82 300 CTD with 167,000 miles. are there any opinions out there on this car?(haha) anything specifically to look for? I'd appreciate any input.

Thanks,

Dale

Not many miles on that, check usual stuff. Keep in mind what vstech mentioned. It will have more pep, I enjoy mine, 116k miles, everything except outside passenger mirror, and trunk light work as designed.

similar car

the stats are very similar to the 4-door, maybe a little less weight, but most of the parts are compatible. True that doors, front seats, windows, panels are different. But I have bought a lot of parts, etc that would fit all models.

I have heard the 84's and 85's are the fastest, but I am a little biased. Don't expect much, and you will be satisfied.

From a 240, I think you will fall in love from what I know.

I love the looks of the coupe, I plan on buying another one if/when this one dies.....

CHECK A/C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is the back seat bench different on the coupes from the sedan?

A/C should be universal.
