Had a bottle put in my 88 190d ,really bad lifter noise ,autozone has it for $3 and some change ,added another bottle today to get another dose .John at the counter recommended it ,his dad used it for years,John is 60 plus years so this stuff has been around for quite awhile.

Is that something you added to the oil? Its not good to add things to the oil....

just curious on why you were recommended this,oil has additives in it ,thats why some are more expensive than others.

I know, I mean it is usually not good to add an additional "lubricant" or some other product to the engine oil....as it can cause foaming and such depending on what is already in the oil you're using.

Delvac 1 works well to.

I'm not a big additive fan.
