Im trying to remove the side plastic panel in my trunk to better access my fuel door lock. There is a round black plastic clip that looks like it wants to pull up but I cant figure out how to remove it.

Any tips on how to get this sucker out? Sorry for the lack of picture...

Sometimes those round clips have to turn 90degrees then they will pull out. Usually when they are that type of clip they have a screw driver slot in them.

I had to cut my clips to remove the liner.

CUT THEM??? no no no... the clip should have a smaller black part in the middle, put small screwdriver under that part, and pull that part out first, then pull the outer part out.
