My 300D won't start after a cold snap? It will almost crank but won't start? I tried using starting fluid but it just rattles? I only get white smke but it will not start? Is she finally dead? It in the upper 40's here in knoxville, Tn

Don't use ether. Check your glow plugs. Most likely one or more of them is bad.
