Euro headlight problem
I have a '85 300D with euro headlights. Bosch and they have h4 on the front of them. My right front turn lens was busted by a rock kicked up from the highway. Since I replaced the lens and bulb, my right head light does not come on when I turn my lights on. BUT, when I pull the headlight switch to activate the fog lights it comes on! The left fog light comes on but, the right fog light does not! So what I have had to do is to disconnect the right fog light and just turn on the head lights with the fog lights.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing this. Also, While looking at the lights I noticed what appeared to be a blue bulb. Which needless to say came loose and now is sitting on the bottom of the lens. What is this blue bulb for? Any help or suggestions is really appreciated!!! Karl |

the blue bulb is known as the elusive K mart option. you turn it on when you have a really good sale going on...
sorry couldnt resist. sounds like you might have reversed the plugs if that is possible. i have no idea what the blue bulb is for. oh wait... you sure it isnt just a really burned out clear bulb? the filament deposits itself on the inside of a bulb as they wear out and look kindof mirrorlike in total failure. tom w
