What are you looking for specifically? I was going to run to the yards today too. I need an alternator bracket bolt. The Monrovia yard is hit and miss but they usually have Pre-w123 cars there.

SoCal Junkyards

There's a pick-a-part near San Pedro that has a few, but the best one, if you don't mind the drive is the Ecology auto parts yard neart El Centro. Was like a kid in a candy store last time i was there. That is really large one and has diff locations for diff things. You will go to the foreign section. Call them first and they will tell you what they have on the lot.

Good luck.

Here's the list which one is it? I don't think I have ever been to El Centro.

Thanks Guys- Not looking for anything specific right now- just wanted to know where they are so when things come up I have options. Just got the car a couple months ago - it's in really good shape but a few things need attention eventually.

I've gotten parts from this place several times. Even visited it on a business trip.

Junkyard in SoCal

the yard is in Chula Vista . . . if you had checked their listings, you would have seen that one is strictly foreign. Also, you can call them since they now inventory, and find out if they have the parts you need.

Ecology in Oceanside has a few MBs, but no W123s.

For anyone who's interested, there's about 5-6 W126's 3 W123's, a W114, a 300CE and a 300E at the Ecology yard.

And a call to the Wilmington Ecology said they had 15 MB's.

I just scored my Euros at Ecology Oceanside, but it's rare that they have too many Mercedes. The Chula Vista one always has a bunch. You can call them ahead, they keep inventory.

A friend told me that they yards over by Beach Blvd have some vintage w115/w123's there right now. Not much at the Monrovia yard at the moment (like 6 190e's).
