block drain plug?
On Braingears, it shows the bloak drain plug on the right side of the block about halfway up and towards the rear of the block. I can't seem to locate it. Does anyone have pictures and methods to opening it? I am getting ready to do the acid flush and thermostat replacement. BTW it is a 1987 603 engine.

It should be easy to find. I believe it is a 19 mm bolt that can't be mistaken for anything else. Take another look.

It's more of a spiggot than a simple plug. It has a nipple to which you can attach a garden hose. Attach a hose, loosen the spiggot then drain without a mess. Other items in the area are the turbo oil feed line and block heater. The block heater might have a knurled plastic cap on it.
