Do W123 300CD Windshields Fit a 300D?

Anyone know? Or know where a windshield store is to compare part #s for cars? I looked online for a while and could not find a single part # for windshields for these cars.

thanks

A 300CD windshield will not fit a 300D, they have different part numbers. Also, if you look at a 300CD and 300D side by side, you can see they're different.

windshield for 123

I just paid $287 for a new 240D windshield installed with new trim piece by Wolf Glass here in jeff, Ind. The job ran 30 minutes past closing time and the installer said it was a real bxxxx. So I think paying the price is worth it. Glass companies have their own transport for naked glass, crating one up properly for UPS would probably be $100. Mine came from Cleveland in 4 days. The local star independent shop refused to touch it, even though he had a 300D good glass in the junkyard in the back. I left the hood unlatched when I was checking for the engine #, then drove to work. Smash at 25mph. I have cables attaching the hood to the cowl, now, I like cars that are stupid proof.

in kentucky if you have full coverage insurance (i dont) you can get windshields replaced for free if broken (state law) even though most people dont know that, and the insurance companies wont tell you that

The windshield for a coupe is different from the sedan. Glass and seal are also more expensive. I changed the windshield myself, not a hard job but wont
do it again.
