85 300 Td Door Trim Keeps Falling Off !

The door trim on the drivers side front and rear will not stay on. It looks like the red gromets are not holding. What can I do?

Stop driving through narrow places. Those fasteners are available fairly reasonably. But even easier might be to put a little silicone sealer on the pins on the trim and in the holes. They should stay on then and if you ever have to take the trim off for painting for example that should still be manageable. Perhaps not the best cure but pretty easy.

They're called "red berries" and they're something like 25 cents each.

Ask Phil, he can get you what you need for a couple of bucks. No biggie.

On the door (the coupe door at least), there is a "T" that is bolted onto the door holding the rear part of the trim to the door, and a little clip at the front of the trim.
