What oil to use for Atlanta driving?

Lots of stop and go traffic in 90+ degree weather?

I used 10w40 high mileage on the last change and the car seems to drink it.

I use Rotella-T 5w-40 Full Synthetic. I get it for @$15 a gallon at WAL-MART. I used to run Delvac 1 then Mobil 1 Truck & SUV Formula but it got sort of expensive at almost $6 a quart.

I run 35 miles to and from the Atlanta Airport everyday.

Any quality diesel rated 15w-40 oil will do just fine. I used to run Chevron Delo 400 15w-40 or Shell Rotella 15w-40 in all my diesels in the Texas summer heat of 100+*F with no issues. RT

Yep. I've been running three diesel cars on those oils in Atlanta for years.... Either should be fine.

I usually run whatever heavy diesel dyno oil is on sale at Costco. Have not really had any problems with stop and go driving. I run Mobil 1 in the S320.

If you check your manual it has a tempature range vs weight specific to your car.
