46mm wrench
So where did you purchase your 46mm wrench for removing the fuel tank strainer?
The wrench is not impossible to find but harder than I would have thought. JWJ

Try channel-lock pliers ...

Also, try 1-13/16 inch, it's pretty close.

I got the 46mm socket from baumtools.com, but as mentioned above, the 1 & 13/16 should work. I believe there's enough room for that socket. The Baum tool has a very low profile and is made for tight quarters. My strainer was in very tight; I doubt pliers would have worked in my case.
The return hose to the left of the feeder hose came off with a 22mm offset wrench.

When I attempted to remove my fuel line at the strainer, the strainer itself came out instead. The fuel line fitting was much tighter in the strainer than the strainer was in the tank. I reinstalled it the same way. Never needed the big wrench.
