low pressure-side schrader valve broken
forgive me if i have asked this question before. it's been a rough few months and i very well may have already asked and forgotten. i did search, though, but didn't find a clear answer. i had a vaccuum pulled on my ac system a while back, and it held fine, except for the low-pressure side schrader valve was leaking. i bought a tool from a bike shop and tried to tighten the core, but broke something down in there. at this point, what needs to be replaced?

What happens when you try to loosen it?

valve
Being a factory-trained Schwinn mechanic, I suggest modifying the valve removal tool a bit. Lightly file the outside edges of the slotted part of the tool. Basically round over the outside edges so it fits in the valve easier. Make sure the tool is seated and give a quick ccw twist. The kit you bought should have some extra valve cores so you can see what needs to be removed. Sounds like the classis problem of corrosion between dissimilar metals. Drop or two of white vinegar (acetic acid) may help things losen up.
