Parting out 6 cyl turbo diesel

I have a complete 6 cyl turbo diesel that I am parting out. I was told the motor was still running when they pulled it. I bought it at a good price so I can pass on some deals.

Why not sell the whole engine to someone who needs it?

I will sell all or parts of the 6cyl. because I do not need any of it. I ran into it looking for parts for my 83 5 cyl. It was sitting for a while outside and some fool removed the oil filler cap so I do not know what got into it. That why I thought it might be better to part it out.

What car is it out of? A 300SDL by any chance??

I could use a fuel filter stand, provided that one is in good shape. The bolt that holds the bracket for the main vac line is completly stripped on mine. The threads are gone.

Also if the AC compressor works she is worth a few bucks. $800 for a rebuilt last I checked.
