83 300D bumper clips

I need a dozen or so of the clips that hold the rubber bumper pad on the bumper. They are located on the back side of the bumpers. Anyone have a few on a parts car they can spare?
No response from my post in parts

I have changed the bumper on my '83 and I have no idea of what you want. I saw no clips.

Park your car on a slight incline, use 3M weatherstrip adhesive on the bumper strip, then gently roll another car into the bumper and let it sit overnight.

Funny. I called Phil asking for them and he described something completely different also.
My '80 300D bumper is different. No clips.

The pad has pulled away from the bumper on the '82 and from what I see/feel there are clips that fit onto the pad 'mounting tabs' holding it on where it is still attached. Missing a few allowing the pad to become loose.
The tabs go thru slots in the bumper. On the back side of the bumper, clips fit into slots on the tabs.
I'll have to take a better look.
Thanks Austin. I'll check with them.

me, too. '85 300TD wagon.

Yes! I'm seeking those 'clips' also. I did not see anything in Performance Parts catalog, either. I think the dealer believes me to be crazy. The 'clips' do not appear on the parts schematics...

When the trim fell off the rear bumper, I purchased new j-shaped plastic pieces that the trim slides onto (one per side). These j-shaped pieces have small L-shaped tabs that actually fit in the slots on the bumper, but the trim will not stay on with just the j-shaped guides holding it on. There are (or must be!) clips that fit on the L-shaped tabs to keep the trim assembly snug on the bumper.

I examined the front bumper trim and saw that it was held on with screws AND some other mysterious rubberish-looking rectangular-shaped shims/clips as well as the j-shaped pieces. Again, NOT in the schematic for bumper trim...

I would be extremely interested in how this gets resolved; would be nice to actually have bumper trim again.

The first of the 123 's had the retainer made in the bumper or Cast then as usual they had to put a FOPP in it to mess things up .So just take the rubber off and put the plastic retainer in place ,drill three or four evenly spaced small holes through the plastic and bumper ,then screw in some small self tapping screws to hold it in place permanently. No more plastic clips and rubber hanging off when it gets bumped, W-D 40 the Rubber and insert it in the edges and use a rubber mallet to knock it back on .

The problem is that when yout ake the bumper all apart to put the plastic Rubber holder on then try and slide the Rubber around to outer edge of the bumper the Damn thing nine times out of ten comes loose and ya got to start over again by fastening the plastic retainer(rail) to the bumper itself you can move it around without pulling it loose .
