Meaning of TD
What does TD stand for, as in 300TD wagons. I know its not turbo diesel, that is what 99% of the american public thinks, but its abviously not true. Does it stand for wagon in German or somthing? I was just wodering; and I know this is the place to find out.

the "T" stands for touring I believe, which is the european equivalent term for a wagon. The D is for diesel as for all other mercedes. Touring sounds a lot better than wagon in my opinion
