A/C condensation problems

I just got my "new" 1979 300SD home. It was fully restored by the previous owner... The only problem I have is that when the a/c is running, small amounts of water run down the transmission hump, down by the drivers and and passengers feet. Is this problem accessable from under the dash? Thanks for you help.

Augusta

Take off the passenger side underdash panel and reach waaaay up in there, right on the centerline of the car. You will find the remains of a foam hose attached to a nipple on the bottom of the evaporator duct. The hose will have completely deteriorated into powder. The exact replacement hose is available from the dealer pretty cheap, however the easiest thing to do would be to custom cut a funnel out of an old plastic water bottle and fit it in place.
