The parcel shelf on my 1983 300D is faded and my plan is to spray it with some SEM color coat but not sure which color to use. My interior is MBTex beige (code: 135) which is a little less common than palomino. Beige is a little lighter. SEM makes a palomino but they don't make beige. At least not by name. They have a few options that look really close but I'm not totally sure which one to use. Based on their color chart (check my attachments), I'm thinking of either going with Santa Fe or Lt. Parchment. My shelf isn't faded too bad but I'm kind of on a mission to get that parcel shelf looking as good as possible. I got my beige first aid kit sorted and I recently purchased the original rear speakers with the correct beige speaker covers so I can finally replace the ugly black aftermarket speakers that a previous owner installed. I figured since I'm going to be putting in the original speakers, I might as well give the parcel shelf a little refresh with some SEM color coat. Has anyone re-sprayed their beige parcel shelf? If so, which color did you go with?
