I understand there's an issue with getting the proper adaptor to put a Nardi wheel onto a 1985 300d.

So is this actually a unique fitment? No other adaptor (w124/w126 for example) will work?

I have the wheel and adaptor on my '78 Coupe now, but want to swtich them over to the sedan.

what's the issue?

The wheel mounting is different but I am not clear either. I don't want to pull the pad off the '85 until I have a better idea.

The Nardi fitment guide lists w123 1979-83 only.

ah yes ..been awhile for me and do recall some scenarios that you mention but in the end got a nardi on my 85
