I have a 98 E300DT thats got the Black Opal Metallic paint job. Around the Xenon headlamps and other front end areas, I have dot's of paint missing and showing the white prime, and down low, scrapes on the plastic thats shows the prime where the Previouds owner had got a little to close to the parking curbs. Can I order the right color here and if so, whats the numbers. Also, whats a good process on preping and hitting the tiny dots and the larger scrapes and then getting it to all smoothed out and looking perfect again? Thx, Q

Q,
Search the Shop Forum archives on "touch-up" and like terms. (search function in top right of screen) This topic has been touched on (pun intended) several times before. If you can't find what you are looking for or have any quesitons let me know and we'll take it from there.

Hope this helps...Lee

There was some posts about a product called, "Langka" from www.langka.com. I ordered some from their website over a month ago, but haven't received it. "They" were on vacation at the time, so I'm thinking my order never made it through (also, I don't think my Visa got charged either). I'm going to do a new post to see how the other members fared with the results of using Langka.

Brian

The touch up paint is sold as a kit with two bottles..one with the paint and one with the clear coat. It sells for about $13 at any dealer.
