Several times I had used a leather cleaner and conditioner for the seats in 90' 300CE.
Than i heart that the seats might not be leather but "leathrete" or something that sounds similar. I know it is a silly question, but what material do I have in my car? Would the leather products work for it? If not , what will? Thanks again Dmitry 1990 300CE |

Dmitry:
Mercedes calls their non-leather upholstery "MB Tex". If you look in the "Detailing" forum, many posts recommend a vinyl cleaner like Meguiar's Vinylex to clean/restore your MB Tex. As to whether or not leather cleaner will hurt MB Tex, I can't answer. Hope this helps. Brian |
