The Navy blue vinyl dash on my 15-year-old 500 SEL has several unsightly cracks. There are several companies that make a plastic dash cover; does anyone have any past experience in their use?? COVERLAY makes a dash cover that is manufactured of high-heat-resistant plastic (rather thin plastic), and DASHTOP by PALCO Industries, Inc. is another(by contrast, thicker plastic than the first). Both come in colors, and installation is supposedly designed for the DIY'er. Would welcome any pros & cons from those of you who have attempted this repair.
